Kit And Crest stays clear of all of them. This policy explains what belongs to us on kitandcrest.shop, how you may use it, why we cannot print certain names and logos on personalised kit, and how to tell us about a trademark, design or other intellectual property concern. For copyright takedown notices specifically, use our <a href=\"/dmca/\">DMCA</a> page.</p>\n<section class=\"policy-summary\">\n<h2>Our IP rules in brief</h2>\n<ul>\n<li>The Kit And Crest name, our artwork, product photos and page text belong to Kit And Crest or are used with permission.</li>\n<li>Share links to our products freely; do not copy our designs, images or descriptions.</li>\n<li>We sell generic sports designs only: no real team, club, race, event, brand or rider names or logos.</li>\n<li>Personalisation means your own name, a number from 0 to 99 and up to three crest initials, not someone else&#8217;s trademark.</li>\n<li>Report a concern to <a href=\"mailto:support@kitandcrest.shop?subject=IP%20concern\">support@kitandcrest.shop</a> with the subject &#8220;IP concern&#8221;; we reply within 24 hours on business days.</li>\n</ul>\n</section>\n<h2>What Kit And Crest owns on this site</h2>\n<p>The content on kitandcrest.shop is owned by Kit And Crest or used with the permission of the person who created it. That covers:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Kit And Crest name, the store logo and the small crest mark used across the site.</li>\n<li>The artwork on our products, such as the Chevron Sprint pattern, the Retro Checker layout and the Cafe Stop graphics, together with their colourways.</li>\n<li>Product photographs, preview images and the live personalisation preview that shows a name and number over a product photo.</li>\n<li>Product descriptions, size advice, help articles and every policy page, including this one.</li>\n<li>The arrangement of the site: collection structure, page layout, navigation and the code that runs it.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>These are protected by copyright, trademark and related laws in the United States and in the other countries where our customers live, including Canada, Australia and New Zealand.</p>\n<h3>Your name on your kit</h3>\n<p>When you personalise a jersey, singlet or tee, the name, number and initials you type stay yours. We print them on your garment and nothing more. We do not claim any right to your name, we do not reuse your personalisation on other products and we do not show your order on the site.</p>\n<h2>How you are welcome to use our content</h2>\n<p>We like it when riders and runners share what they have found. You may:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>View pages and print them for your own personal use, for example printing the <a href=\"/size-guide/\">Size Guide</a> to compare against a top you already own.</li>\n<li>Share links to products or collections in a message, a group chat or a social post, for example sending your club ride friends the <a href=\"/collections/custom-name-crest/\">Custom Name &amp; Crest</a> collection so everyone can choose a size.</li>\n<li>Post photos you took yourself of Kit And Crest products you bought, wearing them on a long run Sunday or at the café stop.</li>\n<li>Quote a short extract of our text with a link back to the page it came from.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Uses that need our written permission</h2>\n<p>Some uses go beyond sharing and need a written yes from us first. Without it, please do not:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Copy, reproduce or republish our product photographs, artwork or descriptions on another website, marketplace listing or print-on-demand account.</li>\n<li>Print our designs, or close imitations of them, onto your own products for sale.</li>\n<li>Use the Kit And Crest name, logo or crest mark, or anything confusingly similar, in a way that suggests we made, sponsor or approve your product, event or group.</li>\n<li>Scrape or bulk-download content from the site with automated tools. Normal search engine indexing is fine.</li>\n<li>Remove or alter any copyright or ownership notice that appears with our content.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>To ask for permission, email <a href=\"mailto:support@kitandcrest.shop?subject=Permission%20request\">support@kitandcrest.shop</a> with the subject &#8220;Permission request&#8221;, say what you would like to use and how, and we will reply within 24 hours on business days.</p>\n<h2>Why we cannot print other people&#8217;s names and logos</h2>\n<p>This is the part of the policy that affects orders most often. Our designs are generic sports artwork: stripes, chevrons, checkers, colour bands and a simple crest shape. They are not copies of any real team or club kit, and they do not carry any team, club, race, event, brand, app or famous rider name or logo. The same rule applies to the personalisation fields.</p>\n<table>\n<caption>What the personalisation fields can and cannot carry</caption>\n<thead>\n<tr>\n<th scope=\"col\">Field</th>\n<th scope=\"col\">Fine to enter</th>\n<th scope=\"col\">Not accepted</th>\n</tr>\n</thead>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td>Name on back (up to 14 characters, printed in capitals)</td>\n<td>Your own name or nickname, such as SAM or CHRISTOPHER</td>\n<td>A famous rider&#8217;s or runner&#8217;s name, or a brand name</td>\n</tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Number on back (0-99)</td>\n<td>Any number in the range, such as 7, 07 or 0</td>\n<td>Nothing outside 0-99; a number on its own is fine</td>\n</tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Crest initials (up to 3 letters)</td>\n<td>Your initials or your group&#8217;s initials</td>\n<td>Letters arranged to reproduce a real club or company monogram</td>\n</tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Group or ride name on the side panel (group ride jersey only)</td>\n<td>A name your friends made up, such as SATURDAY HILLS</td>\n<td>The name of a real club, race, sponsored event or charity campaign whose name is protected</td>\n</tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Gift message (race day tee only, printed on the packing slip)</td>\n<td>A personal note to the recipient</td>\n<td>Nothing is printed on the garment from this field</td>\n</tr>\n</tbody>\n</table>\n<h3>Example: the pro kit request</h3>\n<p>A rider writes to ask whether we can make a jersey that looks like a well-known professional team&#8217;s kit, with the sponsor logos and a star rider&#8217;s name on the back. We cannot. We do not have permission to use those marks, and we will not imitate them. What we can offer is one of our own designs in a similar colour mood, with the rider&#8217;s own name and favourite number on the back.</p>\n<h3>Example: the charity ride group</h3>\n<p>Four friends ordering the Custom Group Ride Cycling Jersey for a charity ride want the event&#8217;s title on the side panel. If the event title is a protected name, we cannot print it. A name the group invented, or the group&#8217;s own initials in the crest, works well, and each friend can still choose their own name on back and size, and ship to their own address.</p>\n<h3>What happens if a protected name gets through</h3>\n<p>We print exactly what is typed and we do not send a proof or mockup before production. If we notice before production that an order asks for a protected name or logo, we email you, ask for a change within the 24-hour change window, or cancel and refund the order if no change is possible. See <a href=\"/cancel-change-order/\">Cancel or Change an Order</a> for how that window works.</p>\n<h2>Respecting rights held by others</h2>\n<p>We aim to sell only designs that are our own or that we have permission to use. We do not knowingly offer anything that infringes another person&#8217;s trademark, copyright, design right or right of publicity. Generic sports shapes, such as a band across the chest or contrasting sleeves, are common to many garments and we use them freely, but we do not copy a specific artwork or a recognisable kit.</p>\n<p>Any other names or marks that appear on the site, for example in a reference to a type of event or in a customer&#8217;s own words, belong to their owners. Their appearance does not mean that the owner endorses Kit And Crest or that we are connected with them.</p>\n<h2>Reporting a trademark or design concern</h2>\n<p>If you believe something on kitandcrest.shop uses your trademark, your club or event identity, your design or your name or likeness without permission, email <a href=\"mailto:support@kitandcrest.shop?subject=IP%20concern\">support@kitandcrest.shop</a> with the subject &#8220;IP concern&#8221; and include:</p>\n<ol>\n<li>Your name, email address and postal address, and your relationship to the rights owner (owner, employee, legal representative).</li>\n<li>The right you rely on, for example a trademark registration number and country, or a description of the design and where it was first used.</li>\n<li>The URL of every product or page concerned. If the same mark appears across several items, list each one.</li>\n<li>A short explanation of why you believe the material infringes, with any images that help us compare.</li>\n<li>A statement that the information in your report is accurate and that you are the rights owner or authorised to act for them.</li>\n</ol>\n<p>For copyright in artwork, photos or text, the six-element notice on our <a href=\"/dmca/\">DMCA</a> page is the better route, because it follows the statutory process.</p>\n<h2>What happens after you report</h2>\n<ol>\n<li>We reply within 24 hours on business days to confirm we have your report, and we tell you if anything is missing.</li>\n<li>We review the material against the right you described. If we need more detail, such as a registration certificate, we ask before deciding.</li>\n<li>If the concern is valid, we remove the product, change the design, replace an image or rewrite the text, and we confirm the outcome to you by email.</li>\n<li>If orders containing the item are waiting to be produced, we contact those customers, offer a different design or a refund to the original payment method, and do not ship the item.</li>\n<li>If we disagree with the report, we explain why in writing so you can decide your next step.</li>\n</ol>\n<table>\n<caption>Choosing the right route for your concern</caption>\n<thead>\n<tr>\n<th scope=\"col\">Concern</th>\n<th scope=\"col\">Subject line</th>\n<th scope=\"col\">Page with details</th>\n</tr>\n</thead>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td>Trademark, logo, crest or event name</td>\n<td>IP concern</td>\n<td>This page</td>\n</tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Name or likeness of a real person</td>\n<td>IP concern</td>\n<td>This page</td>\n</tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Copied artwork, photo or text</td>\n<td>Copyright notice</td>\n<td><a href=\"/dmca/\">DMCA</a></td>\n</tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Permission to use our content</td>\n<td>Permission request</td>\n<td>This page</td>\n</tr>\n<tr>\n<td>An order, delivery or return question</td>\n<td>Your order number</td>\n<td><a href=\"/help-center/\">Help Center</a></td>\n</tr>\n</tbody>\n</table>\n<h2>The kit you bought, after it arrives</h2>\n<p>Buying a garment gives you the garment, not the artwork on it. You are free to wear it, race in it, lend it to a friend, give it as a gift or sell it second-hand as a single used item. What you cannot do is use it as a master to reproduce the design, for example scanning the print of a Chevron Sprint Cycling Jersey to make more jerseys, or photographing it flat to create artwork for another shop&#8217;s listing.</p>\n<p>Photos of you in your own kit are yours. If you send us one, perhaps to show a problem with a print or simply to say the fit worked out, we use it only to deal with your message and do not publish it. Photos customers email us are deleted 30 days after delivery, as explained in the <a href=\"/privacy-policy/\">Privacy Policy</a>.</p>\n<h2>Ideas, feedback and design suggestions</h2>\n<p>Riders and runners often send us ideas: a colourway for the Retro Checker Cycling Jersey, a new sock pattern to match the Chevron Sprint Running Shorts, a request for youth sizes on another design. We are glad to receive them. By sending an idea you agree that we may use it, change it or ignore it without paying for it or crediting you, unless we agree otherwise in writing first. We never publish your name, email or any personal detail alongside an idea without asking you. If you have artwork of your own that you want to protect, please do not send it as a suggestion; tell us what you have in mind and we will talk about it first.</p>\n<h2>Who handles this policy and how to reach us</h2>\n<p>This policy is maintained by Kit And Crest, 13924 Mansa Drive, La Mirada, CA 90638, US.
